Flight from Exeter in emergency landing at Edinburgh Airport

Emergency services are in attendance at Edinburgh airport after a commercial flight was forced to make an emergency landing.

The Flybe service, from Exeter, landed just before 2pm due to problems with its wheels.

None of the passengers on board were injured.

The flight was due to arrive at 14:05 but arrived at 13:43

Flybe can confirm that the above flight landed safely at Edinburgh airport following the report of a technical fault with the aircraft.

The pilot followed standard operating procedures and, as is usual in such circumstances, the airport put its emergency vehicles on standby. All 62 passengers disembarked as normal when the aircraft arrived on stand.
