Two separate accidents on City Bypass cause heavy delays
Drivers are facing lenghty delays in the Capital this morning after two separate road traffic accidents on the Edinburgh City Bypass.
The first incident occurred at around 9.50 am on the A720 westbound at Lasswade, with the accident partially blocking access to the carriageway causing a build up of traffic back to Sheriffhall.
Around 25 minutes later, a two-car collision happened in lane one of two on the A720 eastbound at Baberton. Traffic Scotland say queues are backed up to Hermiston Gait roundabout and police are on the scene to deal with the accident.
