A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was rushed to hospital this morning after he was hit by a car on Craiglockhart Loan.
The Scottish Ambulance Service received a call at 8.18am and the youngster was taken to the city’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Edinburgh were called to Craiglockhart Loan around 8.20am today after a collision between a pedestrian and a car.
“The 12 year-old pedestrian was taken to the Sick Kids Hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are not thought to be life threatening.
“Inquiries are on-going into the full circumstances.”
