The iconic stream train, the A1 Tornado, will be passing through Edinburgh on Saturday.

The train is the last of the LNER Peppercorn Class A1 steam engines that was given life again in Darlington.

It now regularly tours around the United Kingdom with food and drink offered on board.

On Saturday, September 12, the train will be touring from the North of England and travelling to the Scottish Capital, passing through Haymarket 2.07 pm and arriving in Waverley at 2.12 pm.

The train will be leaning Waverley Station again at 5.33 pm before it returns to York.
