Blue badge parking boost

DISABLED drivers are to be given extra waiting time in the Edinburgh Airport car park.

From next month, the time limit in the drop-off zone and short-stay car park will double from 15 minutes to 30 minutes for disabled drivers and passengers.

Further improvements, including moving disabled car parking spaces closer to the terminal building, are also planned.

The move follows a recommendation from the Mobility and Access Committee Scotland.
