Buckstone incident: Teenage girl taken to hospital after being hit by car

Police have confirmed that a teenage girl has been injured after being hit by a car in Edinburgh.

The incident, involving the 13-year-old, happened yesterday afternoon in Buckstone.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a teenage girl being struck by a car on Buckstone Terrace in Edinburgh around 5pm on Monday, 21 June.

The girl, aged 13, sustained an arm injury and was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by the Scottish Ambulance Service.”

The incident happened on Buckstone Terrace.
