Lothian Buses is relocating its Shandwick Place Travelshop to a site in the West End as it prepares to merge with the trams.

The move is part of an improvement plan which will be rolled out under the umbrella brand of Transport for Edinburgh by the end of the year.

Chief executive Ian Craig said: “While we prepare our new premises, we understand that there may be some inconvenience to passengers and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure our existing Travelshops are fully equipped to deal with busy periods.”

The shop will close on Sunday. Lothian Buses’ shops in Hanover Street and Dalkeith will remain open.
