Delays on Edinburgh City Bypass amid crash, breakdown and high winds

Strong winds are causing traffic delays across the city.

Traffic is building on the Edinburgh City Bypass this morning after an accident between Sherrifhall and Old Craighall.

Motorists are advised to slow down and take extra care in the area.

There is also congestion on the Bypass Eastbound at the Baberton slip road due to a broken down van.

Traffic is moving slowly around the city as a Met Office yellow weather warning is in place for wind.

The A1 remains closed between Haddington and Thistly Cross due to high winds.

A diversion is in place on the A199.
