Delays to morning commuters after 'bus collides with bin lorry' on Princes Street

Commuters could be faced with delays this morning due to a crash on Princes Street outside the Balmoral Hotel.

One eyewitness told the Evening News that a number 31 bus had "collided with a bin lorry", causing the delays.

Edinburgh Travel News, the council's travel Twitter feed, said the road was partially blocked at Waverley Steps due to the crash, with traffic queuing from Waterloo Place.
