Forth Road Bridge closed to all traffic today as bus diversions in place

The Forth Road Bridge is currently closed in both directions due to scheduled essential roadworks.

The scheduled closure has been in place since just after 8am this morning (Weds) and is expected to remain in place until 4:30pm this afternoon.

Due to the closure, road diversions are in place but the Queensferry Crossing remains open to traffic.

Stagecoach East Scotland tweeted to advised those using their services to and from North Queensferry should get on or off the service at Ferrytoll.

Those heading to or from South Queensferry have been advised to get on or off on Builyeon Road by the BP garage.
