Hearts to parade Scottish Cup: Full details of route to Tynecastle

HEARTS will parade the Scottish Cup on an open-top bus through the streets of Edinburgh tomorrow.

The bus will set off from the City Chambers on the Royal Mile at 2pm and travel via Johnston Terrace, Bread Street, Morrison Street, Haymarket, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road, ending up at Tynecastle at 3pm.

Entry to Tynecastle is from 1pm to 2.15pm only and will be open to all fans and entry will be on a first come, first served basis.

Supporters are advised that they must pick to attend either the parade or the stadium celebrations. It will not be possible to attend both.

There will be no parking available in the Gorgie area and supporters are advised not to bring their cars.

Timetable

12.50pm: Hearts players and coaching staff will meet the Lord Provost and other civil dignitaries at Edinburgh City Chambers.

1pm: Tynecastle Stadium will open to supporters – entry via Gorgie and Wheatfield turnstiles only.

1.30pm: Entertainment will begin at Tynecastle.

2pm: The players will depart on the open-top bus by the following route:

• Johnston Terrace

• Spittal Street

• Bread Street

• Morrison Street

• Haymarket

• Dalry Road

• Gorgie Road

• Tynecastle Stadium

2.15pm: Turnstiles will close.

3pm: Players will arrive back to Tynecastle Stadium on the open-top bus.

3.15pm: Players will enter Tynecastle Stadium and are introduced to the supporters.

3.45pm: Players will do a lap of honour around the pitch.

4pm: Stadium cleared.
