Long delays in Cramond as broken traffic lights cause gridlock

There are long queues in Cramond this morning as a set of temporary traffic lights has broken down.

The lights at the junction between Gamekeepers Road and Whitehouse Road are stuck on red.

Drivers have reported queues stretching as far back as Barnton Junction.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the gridlocked area.

The Council-run @edintravel Twitter account warned: "Temp lights at Gamekeepers Road are stuck on red - avoid if you can."
