The route is partially blocked heading westbound following a 3-vehicle accident.
No one is believed to be injured following the incident, however officers remain at the scene.
Police were called to the crash at 2:10pm with a Peugeot 208, a VW Golf and a Vauxhall van.
Traffic is thought to be coping well currently but drivers could face delays into the rush hour with knock on effects also expected.
