Shandwick Place: Broken down coach on tram line caused delays on Sunday evening in Edinburgh's west end

A broken down coach caused delays to traffic and blocked the tram line in Edinburgh city centre on Sunday evening

A Megabus broke down on Shandwick Place in the Capital’s west end around 7.45pm.

The tram line was blocked and Police Scotland have confirmed that they were called to help traffic management.

Arrangements were made to remove the bus from the area and free up the road.

Lothian reported that nine of their bus services were diverted due to the incident
