Shandwick Place closed for seven nights due to tram maintenance work at the West End of Princes Street

Due to tram track maintenance, Shandwick Place will be closed for seven days during the night and all day at one point.

The tram track maintenance work is at the West End of Princes Street and will start on Monday night June 28.

From this point on, there will be no access to or from Shandwick Place between 8pm and 5am for 7 nights plus all day Sunday July 4.

Diversions will be in place across bus services in Edinburgh as a result of the road work.

Services to the city from West Maitland Street will divert via Manor Place, Melville Street and Queensferry Street to Princes Street.

Services from the city from Princes Street will divert via Lothian Road, West Approach Road, Morrison Link and Morrison Street to Haymarket

The closures will be in place until next Monday, July 5.
