Six months of roadworks on Forth Road Bridge

FORTH Road Bridge bosses have announced six months of weekend roadworks.

Work to provide access for emergency repairs on the bridge will be combined with routine maintenance every Saturday and Sunday morning from April 21 to October 21. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in both directions from first light until 10.30am.

Long delays are expected on April 21-22, April 28-29, May 5-6 and May 12-13 when M90 resurfacing works take place.
