A teenage yob punched trains and cursed rail workers during a bizarre disturbance at a railway station.
Andrew Rodden, 17, was arrested for breach of the peace after he went off the rails at Bathgate train station in February.
Livingston Sheriff Court heard two trains were standing at the platform when Rodden started behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
He punched the interior of the trains before violently attacking a post in the platform.
He then shouted and swore at rail staff and threatened them with violence before repeatedly spitting on a platform shelter.
Rodden, of St Ninian’s Road, Linlithgow, West Lothian, yesterday pled guilty to breaching the peace.
Sheriff Susan Craig called for background reports and deferred sentence.
