The Evening News published a picture of a car which ended up suspended above the Hermitage Drive street sign after coming off the road two years ago.

A street light was later erected at the same corner but, the inevitable happened on Monday when someone ploughed straight into it.

A police spokesman said they did not receive a report of any collision on Hermitage Drive yesterday, which would suggest no one was badly hurt.
