Trotting out for Crusaders

FUNDRAISERS are putting their best foot forward in a money-spinning charity walk in aid of a historic equestrian club.

A sponsored walk is being held to help fill the coffers of the Musselburgh Crusaders Riding Club and provide a boost to the Cash for Kids charity.

The 15-mile walk, being held on Saturday, will begin at the Roman Bridge at 10am and proceed to Fa’side Castle before returning to Fisherrow Harbour.

The route will take in Inveresk, Carberry Mains Farm, Hillhead Farm, Crookston Road, Wallyford, Edinburgh Road, Goosegreen Bridge and Mountjoy Terrace.
