Scots are being warned to expect heavy showers and travel disruption from flooding.
The warning will be in place until 3pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Experts say the rainfall could bring flooding to some roads – disrupting the travel network.
ScotRail has announced speed restrictions due to heavy rain, causing disruption on many major routes in Scotland on Tuesday.
Services affected include Glasgow Queen Street to Oban and to Mallaig.
Inverness to Edinburgh and to Glasgow Queen Street and Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh and to Wick.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Bus and train services affected with journey times taking longer.
“Spray and flooding on roads will make journey times longer.
“There is a small chance that some communities become cut off by flooded roads.
“There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings.”
