Ukulele show visits Capital

THE Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is to take to the stage at the Queen’s Hall.

The 16-strong orchestra will perform at the Clerk Street venue on April 29 as part of a worldwide tour which also takes in the Sydney Opera House, along with other venues across Australia and Europe.

The show is billed as a “funny, stomping, toe-tapping, all singing, all-plucking obituary of rock ’n’ roll and melodious light entertainment.”
