several short plays will be performed at the Village Pub Theatre in South Fort Street this evening.

The first three performances will be of five-minute plays by members of Edinburgh University playwrights’ group, Ripping Scripts.

They will be followed by the opening scene of James Ley’s new play, Flea Market Café, set in Notting Hill in 2002, when London is full of counter-terrorism intelligence officers. There will also be a performance of Skin; Or How To Disappear, by Morna Pearson.

The performance is the second of three nights of theatre.
