Warning of delays as car breaks down on Forth Road Bridge

Commuters have been warned to avoid the Forth Road Bridge if possible as a result of a broken down vehicle.

Traffic is still moving on the bridge but drivers have been told to expect delays.

One lane has been blocked by a vehicle but recovery services are on the way.

Transport Scotland have encouraged drivers on the route to proceed with caution.

All lanes are restricted Northbound for up to 15 minutes.

The Forth Road Bridge have tweeted that the recovery is in progress.
