Wayne goes Overboard with play centre for kids

A West Lothian entrepreneur has opened a £250,000 soft play centre in Livingston.

Wayne Gardener Young launched the nautical- themed kids’ play centre, named Overboard, in the Daks Industrial Estate to provide families with an alternative to local swing parks after a similar play centre closed its doors.

He said: “Following the closure of another play centre, families in West Lothian were left looking for a safe alternative. At the same time one of my factory units was laying empty so I thought, why not fix this.”
