Clearer weather is expected after Storm Brendan battered the Capital yesterday.

However, while wind gust has decreased, temperatures are expected to feel like below freezing.

Yesterday, the weather caused major disruption in Edinburgh as several popular attractions including Edinburgh's Christmas Market, Edinburgh Castle and the Zoo were forced to remain closed.

Stalls were damaged by the gusts, including the Castle Street market which was completely blown down.

Commuters also faced chaos as the A1 closed for a period of time due to two lorries being blown over, the Forth Road Bridge shut to some traffic and Haymarket Station closed a platform due to damage caused.
