An updated flood alert has been issued for Edinburgh and the Lothians on Thursday.

Experts at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) issued the warning at around 11.20am for coastal and river flooding.

They say that large waves may affect Edinburgh and East Lothian today. Localised flooding of low lying land and roads is possible from wave overtopping around times of high tide.
