Edinburgh faces three days of snow and transport disruption

The weather system, nicknamed the ‘Beast from the East’ has hit the Lothians today - with more snow forecast by the Met Office until the weekend.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Edinburgh today, which will be upgraded to amber on Wednesday and Thursday and back to yellow on Friday and Saturday.
