A WOMAN has been charged after police discovered a cannabis farm in Aberlady.

Officers seized around 56 plants potentially worth £42,000 after searching a property in Kilspindie Court yesterday.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested and is due to appear in court at a later date.

Inspector Ian Mackay said: “Police will continue to investigate any reports relating to drug crime. Anyone wishing to report drug crime can contact police on 101.”
