A 32-YEAR-OLD woman is in hospital with serious injuries after she fell from the window of a second-floor flat in the city centre.
Police received a call from a member of the public at around 12.15am today. Officers are now investigating the incident, which took place on Leith Street, close to the St James Centre.
Inspector Gill Geany, who is in charge of the investigation, said: “A 38-year-old man is currently helping us with our inquiries.
“However, anyone who witnessed this incident is urged to call Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
