Workers log every step

WORKERS in the Capital are to boost their activity levels by walking thousands of miles – virtually.

A team of employees from sustainable transport agency Sustrans will complete a virtual journey of the National Cycle Network as part of the Walk at Work Step Count Challenge.

Participants will be split into teams and will log the distance walked each day using a pedometer.

John Lauder, from Sustrans, said: “We decided to put our own twist on the Walk at Work Step Challenge.”
