The first ever Kantana fighting world title will take place at Meadowbank Stadium this evening.
Kantana fighting is based upon the massive K-1 events, which was founded and based in Japan in 1993 and is a kickboxing platform and martial arts brand well-known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights.
The principal objective of K-1 is to win, preferably via knockout, or secondly, by judges’ decision – unanimous or split.
Aggression is key, and fighters are encouraged to “go for it”.
The event will begin at 6.45pm, with tickets beginning at £25. No under-18s can enter.
