WORSHIPPERS extinguished a fire at their church on Sunday morning.

Two crews from MacDonald Road, and two from Marionville were called to the blaze at St Ninian and Triduana Roman Catholic Church, in Marionville Road, just after 10.30am.

A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “A small fire had broken out in a stud partition, which was extinguished on arrival.”

Firefighters left the scene at 10.55am.
