Young Andy Murray pictured in Hibs top

A picture of a young Andy Murray in his Hibs top has emerged online, after his mum Judy tweeted the nostalgic image.

The Scottish tennis star, who trained at Edinburgh’s Craiglockhart as a youngster, is seen at just age seven in his goalie top at a friend’s birthday party.

Tweeting from her @judmoo account, Judy said: “Check out 7yr old @andy_murray in his Hibs goalie top :)”

The Wimbledon hero, and noted Hibs fan, was also a skilled footballer in his youth who turned down a chance to train with Rangers to focus instead on tennis.
