Youngsters with summit to tell us all

POLITICIANS were urged to commit to strengthening the youth work sector in Scotland at the launch of the first National Youth Work Summit.

Grant Costello, chairman of the Scottish Youth Parliament, was joined by Gemma Mackintosh, from Haggeye, a forum for blind and partially sighted people, and Andrew Kimmitt, a representative from the Boys Brigade, at the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel in Edinburgh.

The event brought together representatives from the youth work sector to discuss the economic challenges that lie ahead for young people.
