Youths need mentors

MENTORS in the Lothians are being sought to work on a one-to-one basis with a group of youngsters in danger of choosing a life of crime.

Operation Youth Advantage plus is now aiming to provide each youth with a mentor to help them through education and training, and into employment via a project called The Buddy Scheme.

An information and induction evening will take place at Voluntary Sector Gateway in Bathgate on Wednesday, at 7pm.
