Guinea pigs left at farm

TWO guinea pigs with severely overgrown claws have been abandoned at a farm in the city.

The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a man was spotted dumping the two frightened males at Gorgie City Farm on Gorgie Road on the afternoon of Thursday, March 29, before driving away.

The young guinea pigs are now being cared for at the charity’s rescue centre at Balerno, where they have been nicknamed Simon and Garfunkel.
