Given that the modern rules of the game were invented in the Capital, it should come as no surprise to learn that Edinburgh’s offering of golf courses is, at the very least, on a par with anywhere else in the country.

Its roots in the 
Capital date back as 
far as 1761 and the 
course is currently 
used for Open Championship 
qualifying by the R&A.
