A LUXURY estate located between Loch Striven and the Firth of the Clyde has been listed for over £9 million with experts stating that the estate could become the most expensive estate to be sold in Scotland.
The 3,280-hectare (8,100 acres) Glen Massan estate in Argyll includes a principal residence, a traditional shooting range and a recently renovated four-bedroom cottage.
As well as sporting a shooting range, the estate includes 46 hectares of agricultural land, trout fishing on the River Massan, a three bedroom cottage with planning permission for expansion, access to timber markets and red and roe deer stalking.

The property company managing the estate stated that increased interest in Scottish properties from oversea buyers and the ideal location of Glen Massan could make the estate the most expensive ever.
The news regarding the Glen Massan estate comes days after the slightly smaller Kinnaird Estate, near Dunkeld in Perthshire became the most expensive country estate sold after it was purchased for £10m, £400,000 over the asking price.
Raymond Henderson of Bidwells, said: “Glen Massan is a large, very private estate with excellent accessibility and real commercial prospects. It is not just a stunning landscape to be enjoyed but is a sound commercial proposition with the majority of its value being in really prime quality conifer forestry – much of it in its second rotation.
“Well proven forestry road infrastructure is in place and there is good access to timber markets, which makes this property a first class investment prospect.”
Glenn Massan estate has been listed with an asking price of £9.1 million and over.
