A 10-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Edinburgh.

Police Scotland said the vehicle, believed to be a white BMW, failed to stop after the boy was hit.

They said the boy was treated in hospital for a fractured arm.

The incident happened in the city’s West Granton Road at about 2pm on Saturday.
