Broken down train causing service cancellations at Edinburgh Waverley

A number of train services at Edinburgh Waverley have been delayed and cancelled due to a broken down train.

Engineers are at the scene to try and resolve the issue.

There are delays of up to 15 minutes and some cancellations between Edinburgh Waverley and North Berwick, and between Edinburgh Waverley and Dunbar due to broken down train at Longniddry.

The broken down train is preventing Scotrail from running services to and from North Berwick.

Engineers are on the site with in an attempt to resolve the issue.

Temporary buses are also available from North Berwick station.
