Amazon creates 250 jobs in Edinburgh as part of expansion
ONLINE giant Amazon is to employ an extra 250 people in the Capital.
It has announced it will increase numbers at its ‘development centres’, with a further 180 similar roles to be created in Cambridge.
The Edinburgh expansion will see Amazon take three floors in the Waverley Gate building, where the new recruits will work on advertising technology and personalised shopping.
A new office will also be opened in Manchester.
