A POPULAR beauty spot in the west of the city has been repeatedly vandalised in recent days.
The walled garden in Corstorphine Hill has been targeted a number of times according to police, with damage has been caused to information boards and leaflet holders providing information to visitors.
The cost of the vandalism is believed to be around £300 and local officers are continuing with their inquiries to trace those responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
Community Ward Officer, Constable Euan Sinclair from Corstorphine Police Station said: “This garden is a community project run by the friends of Corstorphine Hill and is managed and maintained solely by volunteers and funded by donations.
“It is extremely disappointing and disheartening for this group that all their efforts have been met with such a needless act of destruction.
“Anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious in the area should contact police immediately.”
