Drylaw motorbike hit-and-run boy out of hospital

A 10-year-old boy seriously hurt in a hit-and-run in Drylaw has been released from hospital.

The youngster was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children after being hit by a motorbike in Ferry Road on Saturday, August 19.

A 20-year-old has been charged with various offences including causing injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop and report a collision as well as theft of a motorcycle.

A 22-year-old has also been charged with theft of a motorcycle, dangerous driving and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
