A study from Travelodge found that the popular tourist attraction was the most difficult for adults in the UK to spell.
Common spellings were “Edinboro”, “Edinburg”, “Edinbough”.
London was surprinsgly second on the list with alternative spellings rangings from “Landan”, “Londan” and “Loodon.”
“Glazgo” and “sterlin” also featured on the list of UK cities finishing seventh and 20th respectively.
