Edinburgh's weather: Capital set for snow as Met Office issue weather warning
A Yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued in parts of the country, and while no warning is in place for Edinburgh and the Lothians, the area can still expect some winter weather.
The Capital can expect wet and windy weather through much of the night and early morning with heavy rain showers forecast.

Snow is forecast from 3am tomorrow with heavy snow showers lasting through much of the morning.

While it is forecast, it is not expected to be as heavy as the snow showers that brought parts of Scotland to a halt earlier this month.
