Missing Edinburgh teen Wanessa Strzelecka has been traced after a five day search, police have confirmed.
Concern had been growing for the 15-year-old who had been missing for five days after disappearing on her way to college.
Wanessa Strzelecka, from Niddrie, had not been in contact with friends or family since 11am on Tuesday.
Her family said they had been left distraught as she has a medical condition for which she needs to take medication every day.
However, it was announced on Sunday evening that she had been traced.
In a brief statement, police said: “We’re happy to confirm that missing girl Wanessa Strzelecka was traced in Edinburgh a short time ago”.
