BOXING legend Ken Buchanan has told how he warns children of the dangers of drink and drugs in Edinburgh’s streets.
Buchanan, 70, had admitted having previous problems with alcohol and wants to use his experiences to help others.
Speaking to The Scottish Sun on Sunday, the Leith fighter said: “I talk to young kids, even in the street.
“I just tell them to look after themselves. You can get drink and drugs anywhere – just don’t do it.”
He also repeated his backing for plans to erect a Ken Buchanan statue in Edinburgh.
He said: “It’d be brilliant, as long as they show me with the left jab out.”
