Police in Midlothian are seeking the assistance of the public to help find a 53-year-old man reported missing from Dalkeith.


William Scullion was last seen at around 10:30am on Thursday, October 20th, at an address on Woodburn Drive. He is believed to have left the property in his car, a blue, Skoda Spaceback SE Sport, which has the registration SM65 GYF.

William suffers from a long term health complaint that requires ongoing treatment and police are keen to hear from anyone who has information on his whereabouts.

He is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, has a medium build, he normally wears glasses and has tattoos on both arms, which read ‘Scotland Forever’, and ‘Wendy’ written, He also has an image of a panther on his right arm. He is bald and regularly wears a gold chain, silver ring and bracelet.

Inspector Neil Mitchell said: “Our concern is growing for Wiliam’s welfare given the amount of time that has passed since he was last seen.

“It’s unusual for him to go off without telling anyone and we want to trace him as quickly as possible.

“I’d urge anyone who has seen him or the blue Skoda that we believe he is travelling in to contact police immediately.”
