A RAPIST who carried out sickening attacks on a patient at a psychiatric hospital and two former cellmates has been jailed for twelve years, after being arrested while shouting at police on the set of a Hollywood blockbuster.
Hamish McIntyre, 46, was detained by officers after causing a disturbance during the filming of Avengers: Infinity War in the capital’s historic Parliament Square after being released on bail following the attack on a 33-year-old woman he met at the hospital.
Violent thug McIntyre, who has 22 previous convictions for a range of crimes including some involving weapons such as a hammer, brick or knife, denied assaulting and raping the woman at his home in the city on March 10 last year.

McIntyre, previously convicted of sexual assault, also denied raping two men in Saughton Prison on March 15 and April 4 last year.
However, High Court judge Lord Arthurson today found him guilty of raping the woman and a 38-year-old man and sexually assaulting the other prisoner.
Lord Arthurson said: “You have been convicted by the jury of grave sexual offending against three vulnerable individuals.”
McIntyre was jailed for 12 years and was told he would be placed on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
