POLICE say a second man quizzed by detectives over a series of robberies in Edinburgh has been charged.
The 21-year-old is due to appear at the city’s Sheriff Court today along with a 31-year-old man who was charged on Saturday.
Both arrests follow investigations into robberies at Dolphin Road in Currie and Milligan Drive at The Wisp.
It comes after victims reported two men forcing entry and robbong the householders of jewellery, cash and electronic equipment.
Police Scotland said inquiries were still continuing into the incidents.
But they revealed today both men had been charged in relation to the incidents.
In a state ment, they said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the second man arrested in connection with two robberies in Edinburgh has also now been charged.”
